Portuguese empire and Democratic republicans

In a game, I have placed a colony on a wonderspace because of portuguese empire dynasty. My opponent uses Democratic republicans and I have to change dynasty. Because of this I have the colony removed.
Is this correct, or is it a bug?

Hi Jesves,
if you change the dynastie (Portugese Empire), you lose all colonies on wonder places. It is not a bug in the program...
