And the winner is. . . Duncan! Congratulations to Duncan for an outstanding tournament victory. Not only did he win six games en route to becoming the ultimate Samurai, but the most that anyone else won (cornjob, KungFu, paolo, Schuyler, and Vinny) was only three!

Now that the multi-player tournament is over, keep your eyes open for the two-player, random starting hands tournament that will be starting this Spring!

Again, congratulations to Duncan, and Domo arigato to all for playing!

Schuyler

(And many thanks to Schuyler, whose message above I have just copied, for all the time he dedicated to the tournament!

Congrats, Duncan! (I feel a lot better about the times he's whipped me now, too!)

And thanks to Schulyer for running a tournament for months on end. That's real dedication!

Thank you so much for all kind words and congratulations! :)

I can't help thinking that I just luckily HAPPENED to win the championship. As Schuyler & I discussed in private before, many notorious samurais in the town have gone without even passing the HARSH multi-player rounds.

However, it is also true that every surviving samurai I faced during the duel rounds was also deadly. Somehow, through out the whole tournament period, KAMIKAZE, the divine storm was on my side and I could barely win over them. Incredible!

Again, tomo arigato to all samurais for competing, million thx to Schuyler, one of my most terrifying opponents for organizing the tournament, and Mabi for making this wonderful website.

Happy new year!

Duncan
