Say someone dethrones you by advancing your life stage from 45. What happens? Does that mean you can't decide tie-breakers anymore? You won't get VP points in that round for being Emperor? |

The throne can never be vacant: if the current Emperor aristocrat is removed, it must be immediately replaced with another one form the board (but not an elector) or from the reserve if none is available on board. |

ok so it doesn't do one good if they are the current emperor to decrease the life stage on the throne as one will replace it. Unless you think you don't want one to replace it....got it. I'll quit assasinating the emperor...hehe. |

It does force them to use one from the board if they have a free one. If not, the Emperor is "unkillable". |
