I had temporarily disabled registrations due to a storm of spam accounts, and then I thought that with the coming shutdown I could keep them closed. Anyway I have re-enabled registrations now.

Thanks for everything you have done here, my 100+ games have given me a lot of joy and meeting new people IRL who love the game as well. |

Given that "invalid action" seems to come about after what seems like a build up of slower server responses, is there some server side reboot (or whatever kick) that can at least temporarily fix the problem?
i mean the problem has gone away 2 times... now this seems like the 3rd, and so wondering |

Hi,
I would also like to say a big thank you.
It has always been a lot of fun for me to play here and to organize a lot of tournaments for 3 1/2 years now, where you have always supported me well. Thanks also to Markwoon, without his tool it would not been possible to organize the tournaments to this extent.
If someone has another page for Nations online, they are welcome to contact me, most of you have my e-mail address.
But the demands are very high, after how it was here ;-)

| We should convince "boardgamearena" to add NATIONS in their list of games. No idea how much the cost are (software development, server etc.) - but maybe they can use some of MABIs code and/or documentation? |

On October 1st, will the entire site go dark permanently, or will everything just 'freeze'? |

It will go dark: for a few months there will be just a simple page with the shutdown announcement, and eventually it will disappear. |

Mabi,
many thanks from me too. This site was (and still is) fantastic.
I'm especially thankful for the fact that I could play Nations on this site while all similar sites did not work on my old machines because of their trendy modern interfaces and foundations! And this advantage is not gained by a bad or ugly implementation, but the very reverse: a beautiful, functional, intuitive implementation. For my taste, I have no idea how Nations could be done better!
