Can MabiWeb add a set up option to flip the number of starting books, so the player moving first/choosing their Nation last gets the most books instead of the least?
The number of starting books was designed based on the original game. Once the Dynasty expansion was added, it became much more important to choose your Nation first rather than go first on the first turn. Currently whoever moves last/chooses their Nation first usually has a significant advantage. To balance things out, it would be great to allow players the option to set up the game to flip the number of starting books.
Comments? What do we need to do to implement this?

I really don’t think it would change enough. It’s the kind of change that would need hundreds of matches worth of data to determine whether it improved the situation.
