The board doesn't show which tokens were exchanged. In fact, it would be possible for all 3 other players to exchange tokens since your last turn. This should probably show somehow on the map. I cant think of a really elegant solution. Hovering arrows? Blinking dots? By coordinate (but that would mean having coords on the map). |

I assume you are talking about figures exchange (according to rulebook terminology, the black pieces are figures and players tiles are tokens). The exchange is displayed on the board like all the other last turn actions: a colored border around the hexes where pieces were exchanged, in the color of the player who did the action.
You probably didn't notice it in your game because the yellow border is the less visible and in the 4-player board everything is very small. |

Tokens having outlines all the time is a little nicer visually. Perhaps a thicker outline or a solid fill on just played tokens. Also making the yellow a shade darker might help. I suppose this becomes a problem for sea hexes. |
