Topic Reply Notification: email links do not work

When I mark a forum thread to notify me of any updates the email I get does not contain a valid link. I get this:

http://mabiweb.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=123#123

Which for some reason gets modified by the site to this:
http://www.mabiweb.com/?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=123#123

Which shows me the main page. However, after doing a little experimenting, it seems the easy fix is to put the "www" at the beginning of the link in the emails. Then the provided link works fine.

If it matters, I'm running Firefox version 1.5.0.1 and Windows 2000.
